If products are packaged custom and not USDA inspected they will be labeled "Not For Sale". These can not be resold.

5. Return Policy: At Flo-Town Farm, we take pride in providing our valued customers with high-quality, ethically raised cattle and swine. Given the unique nature of our products, which involve purchasing live animals and having them processed by our chosen partner. We regret to inform you that we do not offer refunds, exchanges, or returns on any of our beef or pork products. This policy has been put in place to maintain the integrity and safety of our offerings, as well as to comply with industry regulations. As a customer, you are not only purchasing just purchasing "meat", you are purchasing a share of a live animal, you are investing in the care and well-being of the animals we raise. Allowing returns or refunds would not only undermine the efforts put into raising and processing these animals, but would also compromise the overall quality and ethical standards we adhere to. We can not guarantee the marbling, taste, size of steaks or weight of the beef, each animal is different. It is important for customers to recognize that our beef & pork products undergo a stringent and regulated process, from raising the animals in a sustainable and humane manner, feeding, to the selection of a trusted processor who ensures that the meat is harvested and packed efficiently. These steps are taken to guarantee that each product meets the highest standards of quality and safety.

6. Cancellation Policy : Cancellation Policy At Flo-Town Farm, we understand that circumstances may arise that require a cancellation of your commitment to purchase a share of our live animal. However, we would like to inform you that the deposit you make is a binding commitment to purchase the portion of beef as secured at the designated per Ib weight on the date of your deposit, based on the carcass weight.To provide some clarity, we can estimate the weight of a whole beef carcass to be between 650-800lbs and a whole pork carcass is 180-275lbs. This estimated weight is multiplied by the locked-in per Ib contracted rate, forming the basis of your financial commitment. As we raise the animal over a period of 14 -20 months, your deposit is non-refundable, given the dedication and resources we invest to nurture the animal to its optimal state. In the unfortunate event that you need to cancel your contract, you must be aware that if your harvest date has been secured with the processor, you will still be responsible for the estimate per lb rate and associated fees. Flo-Town Farms will not assume these costs on your behalf; they will be retained by the processor and will form part of your financial responsibility. We acknowledge that this cancellation policy may appear stringent; however, it is crucial for us to uphold our commitment to providing high-quality and ethically raised meat. By placing a deposit, you contribute to the sustainability of our farm operation and enable us to continue producing exceptional products for our customers. Please consider this policy carefully before making a commitment to purchase a share of our live animal.
